How buying works

  1. Pay on the checkout page. Card payment through Stripe. Enter the billing name and address exactly as it should appear on the invoice, it cannot be changed afterwards.
  2. Get your invoice by email. A VAT-compliant invoice PDF from Tick Tech Talks UG arrives automatically right after payment.
  3. Complete the registration. The confirmation page and email carry a short registration form: name for the badge, employer, work location, and for combined passes your workshop choice. One form per attendee; if you bought for others, forward it to them.
  4. Show up in June. Your name on the registration list is your ticket. No PDF ticket needed.

Purchase order, bank transfer, or a quote first? Email team@gophercon.eu with the billing address, VAT ID, and number of tickets. You get a Stripe invoice payable by bank transfer or card.

One week, two conferences. GopherCon Europe turns ten, and the HeyAI Summit runs its third edition inside the same days at the same venue.

Questions

Why is German VAT charged, my company is outside Germany?

Admission to an event is taxed where the event takes place. GopherCon Europe takes place in Berlin, so every ticket carries 19 % German VAT, whether the buyer is a person or a company, inside or outside the EU. We cannot issue reverse-charge invoices for tickets. Companies from other EU countries can reclaim the VAT through the EU VAT refund procedure.

Which category is right for me?

If your employer pays or reimburses the ticket, choose Corporate. If you pay out of your own pocket, choose the self-payer rate. We trust you.

Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?

Refunds are possible up to 30 days before the event, that is until 15 May 2027. Stripe's processing fees are not returned, see Stripe's note on refunded payments. Name changes are free at any time, just email us.

Can I change the billing address on the invoice later?

No. The invoice is generated automatically from what you enter at checkout, so please enter the company name and address as it should appear before you pay.

Does the pass include the workshops?

The conference pass includes the workshops day for the hackathon and community activities. A seat in a full-day workshop requires a combined pass. Workshop titles and trainers are announced later; you choose your workshop in the registration form.

I have a diversity scholarship or speaker ticket, what do I do?

You do not need to buy anything here. You will get your registration link directly from us.
